If you are receiving password errors when you are trying to send and receive email, make sure you are authenticating outgoing email. This is a separate option usually in your server config area of your email client.
If the problem persists, this mean that either your password is wrong (you can be sure by checking the mail can be received or not) or there is a firewall blockage in your local network. Another reason maybe due to your email being blacklisted by the recipient who subsribe to spamming blacklist association.
